This photography series documents the High Jump Festival in the Czech Republic and focuses on capturing the atmosphere, movement, and energy of the event. The project combines action photography with a more cinematic and emotional visual style to create images that feel immersive and dynamic.
Challenge
The main challenge was capturing fast and unpredictable moments in an outdoor festival setting while still keeping a consistent visual style. Another challenge was avoiding typical festival shots and instead finding more creative perspectives and compositions during the live action.
Solution
To create a more distinctive visual approach, I experimented with unconventional angles, movement-focused compositions, and atmospheric editing. By combining action shots with wider environmental images and soft cinematic color grading, the final series captures both the intensity and atmosphere of the festival.
